This video shows us the progress of the New Flying Fortress Parkway off of I-40 East of Kingman AZ. Kingman has had this project in the works for over 20 years, its original name was Rattlesnake Wash, then Rancho Santa Fe Parkway, now we are calling it Flying Fortress Parkway. The name reflects the reason for the road, to get from I-40 to the airport easily. When finished with this phase, the Parkway will take you from I-40 North to Airway (Later when funding is available to the Kingman Airport) and South above Rancho Santa Fe to Louise (Later when funding is available to Hualapai Mountain Rd.) My Son Jon Ortman made a great drone video coming from the north and going south across I-40.
